Christmas Stockings
Okay, so these aren't wearables. I used the
Christmas
Stockings & Wall Quilt pattern from
k.p. kids & co for the shape
of the stocking on the right. I don't recall what I used for the left
and middle stockings. The stocking on the left
is very simple. It is a whole cloth stocking with sequins sewn on. The
embellishments on the middle stocking are my own design, except I think I
got the trees from the
Christmas
Stockings & Wall Quilt pattern, and the technique for the prairie
points is from Kaye Wood's Strip
Quilting Projects Book 1. I freehand machine-quilted the star.
The stocking on the left uses embellishment techniqes from Judy Murrah's
book _Jazz_It_Up_. Much to my sorrow, Judy does not have a website.
